Ghanaian singer, Mzbel who was ridiculed
after the 2016 general elections for supporting
former president Mahama and making bile
statements about the leading opposition
leader has said in an interview that she will
not apologise for the statements she made.
The "16 years" hit maker said in radio
interview that she was entitled to her opinion
and she was not ready to apologise for
statements she made during the election
campaign.
"I am an artiste and I supported the NDC, I
supported JM and you supported NPP and
Nana Addo and you won. You should be
celebrating and move on instead of raining
insults on me," she said.
She added that there was a better way to have
addressed the situation instead of abusing her
on social media.
Mzbel is also of the belief that the people who
abuse her are not true NPP supporters
because the true NPP supporters are busy
thinking of ways to build the nation.
